The music program at MIPC responds to the needs of the congregation as expressed through the Worship and Music Committee.  The music program at MIPC provides many opportunities for members and guests to express their talents.  Each activity is briefly described below.  New members are welcome at any time of year.

Adult Choir:
The adult vocal choir is composed of between 10 and 15 members who meet every Thursday evening from 7:30 P.M. to around 9:00 P.M..  A person can participate in this program once they reach Junior High School.  The choir's role in Sunday worship is to lead the congregation in hymn singing and the presentation of a choral anthem beginning the second week in September and lasting until the 3rd week in June.  The choir also participates in a Thanksgiving interfaith service where about 100 voices provide inspirational music and a Christmas interfaith choral sing were about 50 voices close the Christmas season.  On a typical year, the choir will prepare and present to the congregation about 40 anthems which vary in musical style from classical to contemporary.

Bell Choir:
MIPC's  bell choir, under the direction of Kim Costello,  is composed about 12 ringers. The bell choir meets on Monday night from 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M..  A person can participate in this program as soon as they reach the fifth grade.  The Bell Choir generally plays at one service per month beginning in late September and continuing through June as well as performing in other settings throughout the year.
