"Let the children come to me, said Jesus."
"And he took the children in his arms, laid his hands upon them, and blessed them."
Mark 10:14,16
The Sunday School at MIPC helps children to begin their walk with God.
All children are encouraged to attend the start of our Sunday worship service in the sanctuary
so that they may experience the joy of worshipping Christ with their entire MIPC family.
A short time into our worship service all children are invited to gather at the front
of the sanctuary to enjoy an interactive Children's Sermon.
At the close of the Children's Sermon children age three through grade eight are dismissed to
their Sunday School classes.
Nursery care for children younger than age three is available
during the entire time of worship.
During their time in Sunday School younger children reinforce
the Christian message in the day's lesson by creating a take-home craft project while older
children embark on an age-appropriate exploration of the Bible.
Children remain in their Sunday School classes until the worship service has ended.
Our Sunday School lessons are based on curriculum.
An Adult Bible Study meets on Sunday mornings at 9:00.
